"Music is a Journey of the Heart and Spirit as One" ~ Marilyn Allysum
“Jewel of Happiness” features the beautiful instrumental and vocal music that are timeless compositions of alluring soundscapes.
Allysum sings in both Hindi and Punjabi, with poetic verses based on Kirtans and Bhajans. Some of these songs are from the ancient yoga of sacred music; from a time in India when music was used to attune oneself to nature and for healing the mind. “It’s the tone of that music which tunes a soul and raises it above the depression and despair of everyday life in this world” - Sufi Hazrat Khan. Audiences have revealed that when they hear these vocals, they experience a meditative state of awareness.
